Gary Simmons mask review.

Gary Simmons may have lost more games than he won in the NHL, but simmons is a very colourful and interesting character. His mask, which is featured above in the picture, featured a cobra with a black background on a higgins model mask. " His mask was pretty cool." Said former California golden seals teammate Gilles Meloche. Simmons got his nickname from his minor pro days, which a reporter describes his play of that as a cobra, because he often ended up on his belly like a snake. He was also a major part of the franchise Round Table Pizza as it became a pwerhouse, unfortunately, for his NHL teams, they were nothing close to a powerhouse. " I like to tell people i was the pizza baron in cleveland and the pizza king in Los Angeles " said Simmons in a interview with a sport radio. But this mask was not his first painted one, he first painted it during hi minor pro days with the pheonix roadrunners of the old western hockey league. His mask was painted by his friend, who worked with underprivoliged native american boys. Simmons asked him if they can paint a cobra on it, and he said " Sure, why not ". Simmons managed to make his own special place in hockey in a four year career. A 5/5 star rating for a great mask.

The Gary Bromley Mask Review

Theres no question about it that this mask gets a review. Gary Bromley has a Very colourful personality. He was such a colourful character that he decided to take his nickname bones, and put something resembling the nickname on his mask. He went to Greg Harrison for his idea. He did a mold with him, and left the mask in his artistic hands. When he went to pick it up while he was playing in toronto, he was amazed by his creation. Bromley says there was no artistic genius in his idea, just that he got it from his nickname bones. During his time as a canuck, he had a record of 25 wins, 27 losses and 14 ties and 3 shutouts, and a total of 73 games played. His mask was one of the most recognizable. He still gets fan mail from people wanting an autographed photo of him with his famous skull design mask. A 5/5 rating from the goalie mask review. The photo above is a picture ofGary Bromley with his famous design. " I got my nickname from just being so skinny, and there was no genius in it. I just thought of it, dropped it off at Greg Harrison's shop, and he did his magic. I liked it, and the fans liked it. Often, players asked me:
Cool mask. But why do you wear it? Your not one of those weird goalie's." A quote from Gary Bromley, talking about his mask. He got lots of feedback from canucks fan from that mask, and still does.

Todays post.

Today I look at a very famous mask. Bernie Wolfe's washington mask. Now, he wasnt the best goaltender, a 20 61 21 record, and a respactable 4,17 GAA. But his mask was legendary. In 1977-78 and 78-79 NHL seasons, he wore his famous mask that resembled the american flag waving in the wind. His mask that he used in his first two seasons was blank, and very plain. He started using his famous mask that would drive a goalie mask historian crazy, during the last 20 games in the 1977-78 NHL season. Now, lots of people say that famous mask designer Greg Harrison designed it, but, to be honest, im not sure. He had a good run in his career, even though his record is forgettable, his acrobatic play earned him a standing ovation in washington, for 30 seconds the fan cheered him on after a terrific save on the opposition team. He, in my opinion, was the most acrobatic goaltender on the washington capitals team during their rough time. A 5/5 rating from the daily goalie mask review, reviewing all the famous masks that goaltenders wore or wearing.
